Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan have been roped in to play the reporters who investigated the claims of Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct. The film will be directed by Maria Schrader.
It’s been about four years since New York Times reporters Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor exposed Harvey Weinstein in a sex scandal. Now, Hollywood is ready to tell the tale of how the two reporters followed the story and gave rise to a movement by bringing the movie mogul down. The movie title She Said will star Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan as the reporters. The upcoming film, She Said, is a drama based on the 2019 New York Times bestseller - She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement. The book charts months of investigation into the claims of Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct and the legal obstacles in publishing the reports. Journalists Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, who wrote the book, won the Pulitzer Prize for breaking the story in October 2017.More Related News
