Traffic on the Lasalle extension in Sudbury came to a halt Wednesday afternoon after a silver BMW crashed into a rock cut.
Fire crews and ambulances were spotted at the scene just west of Frood Road shortly before 1:30 p.m. Nov. 6.
It appears that the entire roof of the vehicle is gone.
Eyewitnesses told CTV News Sudbury journalist Alana Everson at the scene that the occupant(s) of the vehicle are still alive.
No word on what caused the car to go off the road.
