Canadian man gets life in prison for 'incel'-related massage parlor murder ruled a terrorist act

A man who was 17 when he fatally stabbed a Toronto masseuse has been sentenced to life in prison for the act, reportedly motivated by online "incel" ideology.
He pleaded guilty last year to both first-degree murder and attempted murder charges. The judge said the life sentence included no chance of parole for 10 years.
In June, Justice Sukhail Akhtar ruled that the massage parlor attack amounted to an act of terrorism due to its links to so-called "incel″ ideology, which stands for ``involuntary celibate.″ It is promoted through a fringe online subculture dominated by men who blame women for a lack of active sex lives they argue they are entitled to have.
