A heatwave that smashed all-time high temperature records in Canada and US has left a rising death toll in its wake as officials brace for more sizzling weather, the threat of wildfires and thuderstorms.
Hundreds of deaths in Canada, America may have been caused by the historic heat wave that baked Canada's western territories and US Northwest and shattered all-time temperature records in usually temperate cities. While US officials have blamed the heat for a handful of deaths, at least 233 people died in British Colombia between Friday and Monday, about 100 more than the average for a four-day period, as per reports.More Related News
