Can't eat out, confined to single room like a jail: Bokaro man on life in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan

Babloo, a resident of Bokaro in Jharkhand who returned to India on Sunday, recalled what life was like in Afghanistan following the Taliban takeover.

A resident of Jharkhand's Bokaro, Babloo could not hold back tears as he received a hero's welcome on Sunday. Locals gathered at his residence under Gandhinagar police station limits with sweets and celebrated Babloo's safe return from Afghanistan. The man from Bokaro had been travelling to Afghanistan for periods of three-four months since 2018 to work in a battery factory. He last flew to Kabul from New Delhi on June 2nd of this year.
