Calgary airport system outage leads to delayed flights, baggage
CBC
Flying in and out of the Calgary International Airport today will require some patience as the airport says a system outage has impacted operations.
The outage has affected many of the airport's operations. That includes delaying flights and baggage handling.
Officials say extra teams have been brought in to perform the work manually with the hope of minimizing disruptions to guests.
The outage has also taken down the airport's website.
On Twitter, passengers reported long lineups to get through to security and lengthy delays elsewhere in the airport.
The cause of the outage has not been released and the airport authority has not said when it expects service to resume.
