The Calcutta High Court has issued an order saying no protests can be held within Visva-Bharati University in Shantiniketan.

Calcutta High Court has issued an order stating that no protests can be held within Visva-Bharati University in Shantiniketan. Students had been continuing a sit-in protest outside the central office and then the residence of Vice-Chancellor Bidyut Chakrabarty demanding the return of three students who had been expelled for three tears on August 23 for taking part in a campus protest in January 2020.
