
Cabinet decides to allow children to enter mosques

The decision will come into effect on August 6.
HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held at its seat at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday. At the outset of the meeting, the cabinet was briefed by HE Minister of Public Health on the latest developments in efforts to curb COVID-19. After reviewing the report of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management regarding the plan to gradually lift the restrictions imposed as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, and in the interest of the health and safety of all members of society, the cabinet decided the following: First: 1- Continuing to allow, according to the need of work, a maximum of 80 percent of the total number of employees in the government sector in each business entity to work from the office, with the rest working remotely or upon request depending on the circumstances. The exception are to the military, security and health sectors.More Related News
