Bypolls Result 2021: The October 30 bypolls to 30 assembly and three Lok Sabha seats were necessitated due to the deaths of 23 MLAs and three MPs.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held six seats and the Congress 10 of the 30 assembly seats that went to the bypolls on October 30. In the counting of votes, the BJP has gained one seat and the Congress lost four. But the devil is in the detail.

The bypolls to 30 assembly and three Lok Sabha seats were necessitated due to the deaths of 23 MLAs and three MPs. The rest seven assembly constituencies went to the by-election due to defections or resignations by MLAs.
