Businesses must go where people are, not the opposite: Sadhguru

Addressing participants at ‘Human is Not a Resource’ virtual event at Isha, Sadhguru said that a large share of global investment had been focussed in 25-30 major cities around the world.
Chennai: In an interaction with business leaders, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, Founder of Isha Foundation urged businesses to go where the people are, rather than people having to go in search of businesses. He said it in the context of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the long-term challenges of increasing migration towards cities, that results in more urban poor and slum dwellers. Addressing participants at ‘Human is Not a Resource’ virtual event at Isha, Sadhguru said that a large share of global investment had been focussed in 25-30 major cities around the world. Referring to this trend, he said that over 1.6 billion people world over would have to migrate to cities in search of opportunities. As a solution to this, he suggested that businesses in India capitalize on the potential in rural talent.More Related News
