The demise of former Karnataka Chief Minister S. M. Krishna led to a stream of tributes from the community of businesspersons and entrepreneurs. Mr Krishna is considered as the architect of the transformation of Bengaluru from a pensioner’s paradise to the IT hub of India.
Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy said, “S.M. Krishna was a visionary gentleman-politician who encouraged IT, new Bengaluru airport and several other foundational ideas to advance Karnataka.”
