A bus carrying 22 college students from Ranchi met with an accident near Gangtok on Tuesday.
A bus carrying 22 college students from Ranchi met with an accident on Tuesday near Ranipool, near Gangtok in Sikkim.
The students of St Xavier's College in Jharkhand's Ranchi were on an educational tour to Gangtok when they met with an accident. The students were returning to Siliguri in West Bengal on their way to Ranchi, when their bus overturned at 7th Mile in Ranipool police station area.
Following the incident, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that he has spoken to his Sikkim counterpart and arrangements are being made for proper treatment of the injured.

CM Soren said that arrangements to air lift the children are also being made. He, however, added that the bad weather is hampering the air lift process.
