The release of Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan-starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2 has been postponed due to a rise in Covid-19 cases. The makers are yet to announce the new date.
Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Sharvari-starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2’s release date has been pushed due to a rise in the number of novel coronavirus cases across the country. In what is being dubbed the second wave, new restrictions and lockdowns are being implemented in certain parts of the country, most notably in Maharashtra. Owing to this, Bunty Aur Babli 2 producer Aditya Chopra has decided to postpone the release of the film. The film was gearing up to release on April 23. Yash Raj Films is yet to announce the new release date. Due to the spike in #Covid19 cases and the impact on the entertainment industry in #India, #YRF has taken the call to push the release of #BuntyAurBabli2 ahead. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to reveal the big news. He wrote, “#BreakingNews: #BuntyAurBabli2 - which was scheduled to release in *cinemas* on 23 April 2021 - has been postponed... #YRF will announce the new release date later. #SaifAliKhan, #RaniMukerji, #SiddhantChaturvedi #Sharvari (sic)." In a second tweet, he added, "Due to the spike in #Covid19 cases and the impact on the entertainment industry in #India, #YRF has taken the call to push the release of #BuntyAurBabli2 ahead (sic)."More Related News
