'Bulli Bai app accused at tender age': Mumbai court's reason for bail to trio
India Today
A Mumbai court took into consideration the "tender age" of three of the Bulli Bai app accused and their "future prospects" while granting them bail.
While granting bail to three of the accused in the Bullibai app case earlier this month, a Mumbai magistrate’s court observed that their age was “very tender” and a prolonged jail term could “affect their future prospects”.
The court said that the three accused granted bail — Vishal Jha, Shweta Singh and Mayank Rawat — are students. “One of them is a girl and orphan, having nobody to take care. It is also informed that they have exams. If they are allowed to remain in jail, it will adversely affect their future prospects as well as their upbringing," the court said.

The Bandra Magistrate court had rejected the bail applications of two of the accused — Neeraj Singh and Omkareshwar Thakur.
Photos of hundreds of Muslim women were uploaded on an app called 'Bulli Bai', following which many took to social media to complain to the police.
Taking to Twitter, a journalist, who is one of the women named in the app, claimed that a group called 'Bulli Bai' was created like 'Sulli Deals' on GitHub, which would collect photos of Muslim women from their social media accounts and encourage people to participate in their "auction".
