"There are many who are asking why tax slabs were not changed. The idea behind the Budget was to build a strong foundation for the next 25 years. Our economy could sustain the pandemic because of its strong fundamentals."
On RBI's cryptocurrency and the government taxing virtual digital assets, Karad said, "Many citizens are earning through digital assets & the government will now tax that. As far as digital currency is concerned the RBI will launch its own digital currency this year."
"From farmers to infrastructure to education all issues have been covered under the budget. The government wants to make strides in the digital sphere and digital currency will give impetus to the drive," he added.
