Customers can also separately avail a Static IP address from BSNL by paying annual charges of Rs 1500 per static IP address.

Government-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has regularised its tariff for VPN over 3G services for business and enterprise customers. A virtual private network (VPN) extends a private network across a public network and enables users to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network.
