Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. to endorse Eric Adams for mayor

Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. is endorsing Brooklyn Beep Eric Adams for mayor — a move that could give the candidate an important boost among Latino voters in the Democratic primary.

Adams is set to formally receive Diaz’s support at a press conference Monday morning in The Bronx, said the mayoral hopeful’s camp in a release Sunday. “Borough President Diaz is the city’s strongest, most effective leader on behalf of the Bronx and Latino New Yorkers — and I am honored to have his support,” Adams told The Post on Sunday in a statement, which he also tweeted.
