Tite said that the quality of the pitches in Brazil during the Copa America were poor which put players at risk of sustaining injuries.
Brazil coach Tite hit out at the Copa America organisers for the poor quality of pitches that were on offer during the tournament after his team lost 1-0 to Argentina in the final. Tite, who had earlier criticised the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) for the way the tournament was shifted to Brazil in the last minute, said his criticism was directed specifically CONMEBOL president Alejandro Dominguez. "The organisation left a lot to be desired," Tite said. "The pitches were poor. The players were put at an excessive risk. This shouldn't happen in a big tournament such as this one."More Related News
