Bosnians help rescued animals at QAWS

Continuing the series of benevolent activities Bosnian in Qatar organised a collection of food for the rescued animals at the Qatar Animal Welfare Society (QAWS). The initiative was supported by the country's embassy represented by ambassador Haris Lukovac. Apart from donating the food and bedding, they also walked dogs, cuddled cats, and spent time furthering their understanding of the animals’ needs. “Being an important part of the Qatari society we place great emphasis on giving back to the society and helping those in need - in this case, our furry friends. Many thanks to all those who came out to the shelter to deliver the donations and volunteer their time with the animals,” said Haris Lukovac, Ambassador of Bosnia. “While conducting these activities, we always insist on taking our children with us. It is an important part of raising them to be aware of other’s needs and develop empathy in order to become constructive members of society”, said Vahid Suljic, a Bosnian Community member added.More Related News
