Bosnian FM praises QC's development projects in her country

The Vice-Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Bisera Turkovic during her visit to Qatar Charity's office.
The Vice-Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Bisera Turkovic praised the developmental projects implemented by Qatar Charity (QC) to support the Bosnian people in various sectors. She also thanked the people of Qatar, who are proactive in supporting those in need worldwide. Dr.Turkovic praised Qatar Charity for its efforts, especially in combating the Covid-19 pandemic, providing comprehensive care for hundreds of orphans and children of poor families, and implementing the projects that directly contribute to the development of the country. During a visit to Qatar Charity's office and a dormitory for female students studying in universities, Dr. Turkovic was received by the director of QC's office in the country Mohamed Ouchene. She expressed delight with the well-furnished and well-equipped dormitory that benefits more than 100 female students from across the country. She noted that the student housing is comparable to international centers in terms of facilities and is an example in strengthening relations between the Qatari and Bosnian peoples. The Minister said she pays special attention to the projects implemented by QC to contribute to the development of the country, which were focused on serving the renaissance and recovery of Bosnia in the first phase of the crisis it experienced in the 1990s, and then the infrastructure projects that would help Bosnia shape its future in a better way. She stressed that Qatar Charity is a notable international humanitarian and charitable organization, indicating that she would provide all the necessary support to facilitate QC's work and activities across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Qatar Charity's office in Bosnia and Herzegovina was established in 1994 to support the affected people of Bosnia by providing assistance to various sectors, reconstruction, construction and the implementing projects related to public interest, infrastructure, resettlement of displaced people in eastern Bosnia and other projects that serve the community and are in line with the plans and programs of the country.More Related News
