British Prime Minister Boris Johnson landed in Ahmedabad to a grand welcome as he began his two-day visit to India from Thursday, April 21. Boris Johnson was received by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Governor Acharya Devvrat at the Ahmedabad airport.
Boris Johnson, who is on his maiden visit to Gujarat, visited the Sabarmati Ashram before heading to the manufacturing facility of JCB, a British construction equipment firm, near Halol in Panchmahal district. During his India visit, PM Johnson will also announce new deals worth £1 billion.
