Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has reacted to the FIR filed by Mizoram Police against him. Himanta Biswa Sarma also asked why the case has not been handed over to a neutral agency.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who has been booked by the Mizoram Police, has said he will join the probe, while asking why the investigation is not being handled by a neutral probe agency. In a tweet on Saturday, the Assam CM wrote, “will be very happy to join in any investigation. But why the case is not being handed over to a neutral agency, especially when the place of occurrence is well within the constitutional territory of Assam? Have already conveyed this to @ZoramthangaCM ji.”
