The Hyderabad Traffic Police imposed certain restrictions in several areas, keeping in mind the traffic congestion due to Sri Jagadamba Mahankali Golconda Bonalu celebrations from today.
In the view of the Sri Jagadamba Mahankali Golconda Bonalu festival, the Hyderabad Traffic Police have imposed certain restrictions between 8 am to 11 pm from today.
Due to the Bonalu festival in the city, heavy traffic congestion is expected on June 30 and July 3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24 and 28.
As per the reports, several routes from Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort via Makkai Darwaza, Langar Houz to Golconda Fort via Fathe Darwaza and Shaikpet Nala, Seven Tombs to Golconda Fort via Banjara Darwaza will be affected.
A large number of devotees are expected to attend the celebrations for nine days from June 30 up to July 28.
The Traffic Police have urged devotees to park vehicles at the designated spots and maintain the line system at the parking places.
All the other commuters have been requested to choose an alternative route to avoid the traffic.
