Montreal police (SPVM) confirmed that a body was found in the l’Île-de-la-Visitation nature park in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.
Montreal police (SPVM) confirmed that a body was found in the l’Île-de-la-Visitation nature park in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough on Wednesday.
“A 911 call was made around 10 a.m. regarding the discovery of the body in a park near Gouin Boulevard East and de Lile Street,” said SPVM spokesperson Marianne Allard-Morin.
According to police, the person was pronounced dead on the scene.
“The scene is now protected as it is a suspicious death. Our investigators will come on site to analyze scene and try to understand the circumstances surrounding this suspicious death.”
