Laval police are investigating after the bodies of two seniors were found inside a home in the Ste-Dorothée neighbourhood Friday afternoon.
Police received a 911 call on Friday around 2:20 p.m. from a concerned family member about a residence on Maisonneuve Street near Place Georges.
When officers arrived at the home, they found the bodies of a man and a woman, both in their 80s, said Service de police de Laval (SPL) spokesperson Geneviève Major, adding that the deaths are considered "suspicious."
Authorities say the bodies had been there for several weeks or even months.
Police are questioning a family member who was at the scene.
A security perimeter was set up, and SPL investigators were on the scene. They are awaiting the results of the coroner's report.
