BMC chief's advice amid Omicron scare: Avoid parties on Christmas, New year's eve

BMC chief has advised people to avoid parties during Christmas and New Year's Eve amid the Omicron scare.

The BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) has warned that strict action will be taken if people resort to unnecessary crowding and do not abide by covid appropriate behavior.

The BMC has also formed several squads at the ward levels which will be active during the festive season and take action against the violators. The BMC commissioner has also asked citizens to avoid parties during Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
