BlackRock adds new proxy advisory firm amid ESG criticism as critics say 'too little, too late'

As BlackRock was primed to announce a new proxy advisor partnership under its voting choice program, critics said it was "too little, too late."
"We continue to innovate and provide more choice to our clients who wish to take a more direct role in the proxy voting process," Joud Abdel Majeid, global head of BlackRock Investment Stewardship, said in the release. Charles Creitz is a reporter for Fox News Digital.
