England coach Gareth Southgate slammed a section of fans, who booed at players for taking a knee. The gesture was jeered ahead of England’s 1-0 win over Austria on Wednesday. Players have been taking a knee before kickoff to support the anti-racism ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement, but Southgate said some fans view it as a “political stand” they disagree with.
