BJP youth wing worker stabbed in Gujarat, party claims AAP hand

A BJP youth wing worker was allegedly stabbed by an AAP worker in Gujarat. Police have filed a case against six people and a probe is on.
A Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) worker at Gomtipur in Gujarat was allegedly attacked by an AAP worker on Tuesday. Pawan Tomar, Gomtipur ward head of BYJM, was allegedly attacked with a knife after a heated argument broke out between him and AAP workers.
Pawan Tomar has been admitted for treatment at Shardaben Hospital. Gomtipur Police have registered a case against six persons on charges of attempt to murder, punishment for rioting and unlawful assembly and efforts are underway to trace them.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon when Pawan Tomar and other BJP workers were having a discussion at Gomptipur's Mohanlal Challi. During the same time, AAP workers arrived at the spot and a verbal spat broke out between the two groups and, in a fit of rage, an AAP worker, Sahil, attacked Pawan Tomar with a knife.

The BJP Gujarat’s media division issued a statement on the incident and termed it 'shameful', adding that AAP is trying to disrupt communal peace in the state. AAP is indulging in 'low-level politics, the BJP said.
