BJP Trying To Distort History Of Bengal's Foundation Day: Mamata Banerjee

"They (BJP) are trying to distort history. If we don't oppose it then this day (June 20) would be established as State Foundation Day," Mamata Banerjee said.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today alleged that the BJP is trying to distort the history of how the state was created.

If that is not opposed, June 20 will be established as the State Foundation Day, Mamata Banerjee said.
