Ahead of the West Bengal assembly elections, several Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders jumped ship to the BJP, but following the saffron party’s sound defeat at the hustings, one turncoat seems to have had a change of heart. @MamataOfficial @AITCofficial pic.twitter.com/ZOtiSvvUSO In a letter to chief minister Mamata Banerjee, former TMC MLA Sonali Guha apologised for leaving the party and appealed to be allowed back into the fold.In the letter, which Guha posted on her social media, she claimed that she quit the party impulsively, but has now realised that “a fish cannot stay out of water” for long. "I am writing this with a broken heart that I took the wrong decision of joining another party after being emotional. I could not get accustomed there,” she wrote.More Related News
