BJP’s Sambit Patra fails to appear for questioning before Chhattisgarh Police in 'toolkit' case, seeks one week’s time

The Chhattisgarh Police on Sunday summoned BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra for questioning in the ‘toolkit’ case. However, he did not appear and has asked for one week’s time instead.

Instead, he sent an email through his lawyer asking for one week’s time, said additional superintendent of police Lakhan Patle. The police asked him to appear at the Civil Line Police Station in Raipur and gave him the option of video conferencing too on account of the Covid-19 situation in the country.
