BJP's Manju Bhadoriya takes oath as Agra zila panchayat president

BJP's Manju Bhadoriya, who was elected Agra zila panchayat president unopposed on Saturday, took oath on Tuesday.

Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Manju Bhadoriya took oath on Tuesday as Agra zila panchayat president. An MBA and PhD holder, Bhadoriya is the fourth woman zila panchayat president of Agra. She is also the director of Fatehabad Medical Research Centre. With no other nomination filed for the post of Agra Zila Panchayat chairperson, Bhadoriya was declared elected unopposed on June 26. Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) did not field any candidates. The seat was reserved for women candidates only.
