BJP MP's daughter-in-law slits wrist, accuses husband and his family of ill-treatment

In a new twist in the family drama which has been going on BJP MP Kaushal Kishore's family for the past two weeks, his daughter-in-law on Monday attempted suicide by slitting her wrist. Before slitting her wrist, Ankita Singh had released a video in which she alleged ill-treatment by her husband Ayush and his family. Ankita Singh on Monday morning reached outside the residence of Kaushal Kishore and slit her wrist. She was later rushed to a hospital where she is undergoing treatment. In the video, Ankita Singh said she listed atrocities committed on her by Ayush and his family before saying that she was going to commit suicide. "I cannot fight anyone because your father is an MP and mother an MLA. Nobody will listen to me. I have never let anyone touch you so how can I do that? You are lying. You and your family did not let me live," she was heard saying in the video.
