The first commercial flight from Delhi to Deoghar in Jharkhand will take off on July 30, with several BJP leaders on board. Several BJP lawmakers and Bhojpuri film stars such as Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua) and Godda MP Nishikant Dubey will fly to Jharkhand's Deoghar and offer prayers to Lord Shiva in Baba Dham. They will visit Baba Baidyanath temple to offer prayers.

Built at a cost of Rs 400 crore, PM Modi inaugurated the Deoghar International Airport on July 12, 2022. On the same day, he also flagged off the Deoghar-Kolkata IndiGo flight from the new airport.
I am confident that the new airport in Deoghar will be a game-changer for the entire region. It will give immense impetus to tourism and boost growth. I urge you all to visit Deoghar in the times to come! pic.twitter.com/ddyXkwV0oP
Jharkhand's Deoghar is a well-known spiritual town and is home to Baba Baidyanath Dham- a Lord Shiva shrine. It hosts one of the biggest month-long religious congregations during the holy month of Shrawan and witnesses a footfall of lakhs of devotees throughout the month. However, until July 12, the only ways to reach Deoghar were by road or railway.
