BJP leaders Suvendu Adhikari, Locket Chatterjee detained while protesting against TMC govt

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Suvendu Adhikari and BJP State General Secretary Locket Chatterjee were detained while on their way to participate in the Nabanna Avijan.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Suvendu Adhikari and BJP State General Secretary Locket Chatterjee were detained while on their way to participate in the Nabanna Avijan. They were detained in Alipore.

Also, another BJP leader, Rahul Sinha, was detained as Bengal BJP workers clashed with police during a protest march against the TMC government.

The march is being carried out in protest against the alleged corrupt practices of the TMC government.

As hundreds of BJP workers are heading to Kolkata via trains to join the BJP’s ‘Nabanna March’, the state police have barricaded the way to railway stations.
