Somu urges cadres to work for success in 2024 polls
The 43 rd Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was celebrated by the party leaders and cadres in the city on Wednesday.
BJP State president Somu Veerraju hoisted the party flag at the BJP Office at Lawson’s Bay Colony and called upon the party workers and leaders to strive for the success of the party in the 2024 Assembly elections.
MLC P.V.N. Madhav, former MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju, Parliament district president Raveendra Medapati, Anakapalli Parliament district in-charge SVS Prakash Reddy, Visakhapatnam Parliament district general secretary V.S.N. Prasad Koppisetty, Visakhapatnam district in-charge Koduri Lakshminarayana, and BJYM State president Surendra Mohan participated in the meet.
The party flag was hoisted at the 29 th ward office at Ramajogipeta under the auspices of Maharanipeta mandal president Ommi Venkata Appa Rao.
BJP AP Medical Cell convener Rupakula Ravi Kumar advised workers to strive for the success of the party in the 2024 general elections. Senior leader P.V. Chalapathi Rao said that the party has the support of backward classes and Dalits apart from the upper castes.
Mahila Morcha leaders T. Girija, Palla Lakshmi, BJP Minority Morcha leader Ch. Rajababu, Yuva Morcha representative Gedela Srihari and Botta Raju were among those who participated in the programme.
