
BJP attacks TMC for not reducing VAT on fuel, protests at petrol pumps

The Bharatiya Janata Party workers protested at several petrol pumps in Kolkata over TMC refusing to cut down VAT on fuel. The party shifted their protest to the pumps after police denied them permission for a rally.
As excise duty on fuel was decreased by Central government last week, the BJP took to the streets attacking the Trinamool government for not reducing VAT on fuel.
A day after the BJP could not take out it's mega protest rally in Kolkata due to lack of police permission, the Bharatiya Janata Party protested at petrol pumps throughout the state.
