The world's largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, price today was down by 5.59 per cent to $29,509.23. Meanwhile, the world's second largest cryotocurrency, Ethereum, fell 6.89 per cent to $1,754.39.
"Bitcoin dipped to US$29,000 in the past 24 hours after witnessing nearly 4 per cent growth on Sunday. The current drop is due to Bitcoin miners auctioning their minted tokens as mining has become less profitable as cost tumbles," Edul Patel, co-founder and CEO, of Mudrex said.
Other cryptocurrencies such as XRP fell 2.58 per cent, Solana fell 8.76 per cent, Cardano was down by 8.69 per cent, Stellar fell 7.47 per cent.
Other cryptocurrencies such as dogecoin fell 4.23 per cent, Polkadot was down 7.65 per cent, Avalanche fell 13.60 per cent, and Shiba Inu fell 5.44 per cent.
