A police official allegedly shot dead his friend while they were on a picnic near Tilaiya Dam in Koderma, Bihar, on Friday. Police are investigating whether he fired the bullet at the victim on purpose or it was an accident. According to reports, the accused, Ashutosh Kumar, Bihar Provisional DSP, went to Tilaiya Dam in Koderma with three friends for a picnic. He allegedly opened fire while posing with a service pistol for a photo and killed his friend Nikhil Ranjan.
