Bihar: Divya Shakti cracks UPSC examination for second time in a row, secures 58th rank

Bihar's Divya Shakti cracked UPSC 2022 examinations for the second time in a row and bagged 58th place. Previously, she secured 79th rank in the UPSC civil services exam 2019 on the second attempt.
The results for UPSC civil services exam 2022 were released on Monday and the stories of the rank holders have been inspiring many. One such motivational story is of Divya Shakti from Bihar who cracked the examination for the second time in a row.
Divya Shaki from Saran's Jalalpur district, who secured 79th rank in her previous attempt, got selected as an IPS officer in 2019. But, with a desire to become an IAS officer, she continued her preparations and appeared for the UPSC 2022 examinations as well.
She worked hard and prepared for the examination along with her training in IPS, which yielded results and she secured 58th rank at the All India level this year.
Along with Divya, her family members are also elated by the news. Her father, Dhirendra Kumar Singh, who is an ex-superintendent of the government medical college hospital (GMCH), Bettiah, revealed that Divya was a studious child from the beginning.
Talking to AajTak, her family members wished her a bright future and called her an inspiration for other aspirants.
Born and brought up in a doctor's family, Divya was a meritorious student. She completed her high school in Muzzafpur and moved to DPS Bokaro for intermediate. She completed her engineering degree in computer science from BITS Pilani and also did an MSc in Economics from the same college.
After working for two years in an American company, she appeared in the UPSC civil services exam 2019 and bagged 79th position in the second attempt.
