At least 16 people have died and several people lost their eyesight in Bihar's West Champaran district in a suspected hooch tragedy. The police on Sunday arrested 16 people in connection with the case. A 40-year-old man told India Today that he lost his eyesight after consuming spurious alcohol at a brewery outside Deurwa village in Bihar’s West Champaran. The victim, Mohammad Izhar, said, “After I drank the alcohol, my health deteriorated and I lost my eyesight. Before drinking, I could see everything clearly.”More Related News
