On Saturday (December 4), Kamal Haasan questioned Priyanka Deshpande's double standards on Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. He then saved Raju Jeyamohan from elimination.
On Saturday (December 4), Kamal Haasan returned as the host of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5. The actor was hospitalised for two weeks after testing positive for Covid-19. He got discharged from the hospital on December 4 and got back to work. He opened the show by thanking everyone who prayed for him and wished him a speedy recovery.
He said, "I am here because of your love. Being a rationalist, you can ask me if the medical treatment didn't help. Even the doctors treated me with love, along with medication. I am taking this opportunity to thank everyone for their prayers." He then revealed that he couldn't eat properly and had all the symptoms of Covid-19 for the first two days.
