Kamal Haasan, who tested positive for Covid-19, interacted with contestants from a Chennai hospital. He then passed the baton to Ramya Krishnan, who hosted the show with much aplomb.
Kamal Haasan tested positive for Covid-19 on November 22 and is currently being treated at a Chennai hospital. On Saturday (November 27), Bigg Boss informed the contestants about Kamal Haasan's health and asked them not to worry. The Vishwaroopam actor appeared on a video call and spoke to the contestants. He also took this opportunity to spread awareness about Covid-19 and asked people to be careful.
Addressing the gathering, Kamal Haasan said, "Many people think that Covid-19 has gone or it is just a rumour. But it was a jolt to me when I tested positive. Many, including me, thought that there wouldn't be another wave and got complacent. I am able to talk to you only because I took two doses of the vaccine. I see this as an opportunity to spread awareness about the virus and request people not to let their guard down. From Chief Minister MK Stalin to many other celebrities, people wished me a speedy recovery. My heartfelt thanks to everyone."
