The makers continued the shooting even after the Tamil Nadu government announced a strict lockdown in the state. Television and film shootings are not permitted. Thiruvallur Revenue Divisional Officer Preethi Parkavi sealed the set on May 19. Preethi Parkavi, in an interview with Indianexpress.com, said that the production house continued the shooting violating government guidelines. They have imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh for the same.
