Fox News
Austin Cindric is replacing Brad Keselowski on Team Penske's NASCAR Cup Series team in 2022. The Xfinity driver was expected to go to Wood Brothers Racing, but has been a top performer in his series.
Keselowski has not announced his 2022 plans as of Thursday but he's presumed to be moving to Roush Fenway Racing with an an ownership stake in that organization. "Austin is a champion and has proven his abilities both on and off the track," team owner Penske said. "The Cup Series is a big step for any rookie but making this move now, in conjunction with the introduction of the new NextGen car, makes sense." Cindric was to replace Matt DiBenedetto in the No. 21 Ford for the Wood Brothers. That seat will now go to Xfinity Series driver Harrison Burton.More Related News
