Big drop in Covid-19 cases in Qatar on May 9

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 389 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 1,063 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 201,530.
Out of 389 new cases, 292 are community cases and 97 from travellers returning from abroad. The ministry also announced deaths of six people aged 43, 51, 55, 57, 66 and 69 years of age, taking the total death toll as of today to 508. All of them had chronic diseases and all of them received necessary medical care, MoPH said.
