
Biden tells Floyd family 'now there's some justice' after Chauvin guilty verdict

President Biden and Vice President Harris called the family of George Floyd after the jury delivered a guilty verdict against former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, saying "now there's some justice," and vowing that his "legacy" will stay "intact."
Chauvin, 45, was charged with second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. Chauvin's bail was immediately revoked and he was led away with his hands cuffed behind his back.
