"The commitment to meet in person is indicative of the importance and the value we both place on this relationship between Japan and the United States," Biden said Friday during a joint press conference in the White House Rose Garden. The president said that the two had a "very productive discussion" Friday, discussing their commitment to cooperate on shared challenges.
