Biden's silence on Cuomo not sustainable the more allegations 'pile up': Axios' Jonathan Swan
Fox News
Axios national political reporter Jonathan Swan says President Biden's silence on the Andrew Cuomo scandal becomes “more conspicuous” the more Democrats call for the New York governor’s resignation.
Addressing the slew of Democrats from New York's congressional delegation and the state level who have called for him to resign Cuomo said, "Politicians who don't know a single fact but then form a conclusion and an opinion are in my opinion reckless and dangerous." "The people of New York should not have confidence in a politician who takes a position without knowing any facts or substance – that, my friends, is politics at its worst," he continued. Host Chris Wallace asked Swan on Sunday if there is "any chance that President Biden will join the chorus calling on Gov. Cuomo to step down?""Part of this is that Andrew Cuomo doesn't have a lot of friends, doesn't have a lot of ingrained loyalty and affection for him over the years," Swan responded. "He's made a lot of enemies and now, in his moment of need, he is finding himself very isolated."More Related News
